The long-awaited first Nash-designed car with a six-cylinder valve-in-head engine made its bow in the fall of 1917. The name Nash apparently meant a great deal to Americans, for 10,283 were built and sold in the first full year of production.

1918 Nash Truck
Nash Motors Company build more trucks than automobiles in 1918. More than 11,000 of the famed Nash four-wheel-drive Quads were built for the Army, as Nash became the world's largest truck manufacturer. This picture was taken on the front in France during World War I.
