The Oakland (Calif.) Tribune unearthed this photograph of 1914 Jeffery cars and trucks taken in front of the Frank Fageol Agency on Telegraph Avenue in Oakland. Note the predominance of trucks.

This car, now owned by Laurent Dionne, of Warren, Rhode Island, was restored in 1952. In excellent condition, it was driven by Mr. Dionne several thousand miles through New England in 1952. Note the similarilty in appearance to the Rambler pictured at bottom of page 25 [Image 52].

After 12 years of building automobiles and trucks under the name Rambler, the Thomas B. Jeffery Company in 1914 renamed their product "Jeffery", to honor the founder, who had died four years earlier. Above is the "All Weather" coupe, with an aluminum body

This classic roadster, manufactured in limited quantities, weighed 3,000 pounds and sold for $1,550. It had the same chassis as the "All Weather" on page 26 [Image 54].
