1902 Rambler C
This was the first Rambler to be offered for sale. Priced at $750, it was a one-cylinder model known as a "runabout." Pictured at the tiller is Thomas P. Kenny, of Teterboro, N.J., who restored this early model in 1952. While Nash claimed that 1,500 Ramblers were made in the first year, modern research and contemporary documents support a figure closer to 400.

1902 Rambler D
This quaint car was the "most luxurious" offering of the Jeffery company in 1902. It sold for $825. The Model D had a top (pictured here). The Model C had no top. According to contemporary literature, its one-cylinder engine could develop "six brake horsepower running at 800 revolutions per minute." Another claims it was capable of "developing over four brake horse power running at 600 revolutions per minute." Its bore and stoke is given at 4½ by 6.
